This week's guest on the Butterflies Radio @IndieViews Artist Spotlight is British singer/songwriter, Sophie Morgan.

At just 16 years old, Sophie has already recorded a cover song of The Counting Crows' song, "Holiday in Spain," after winning a contest put on by the band.

Her lyrics and vocals are mature behind her years, giving her a sound that has The Verve's Simon Jones mentoring her in her career.

This week's Butterflies Radio @IndieViews Artist Spotlight features Chicago's own, Ashleigh Ashton.

Along with being a singer/songwriter, Ashleigh also dances and acts and is a mentor with the renowned Piven Theater Workshop Children's Program. She also attends Second City's Training Center and is a motivational speaker for anti-bullying.

We talked about our mutual love for the Windy City and how her upcoming video for "Break In 2" with assist her in her anti-bullying campaign, as well as what it is like to be part of a big family and performing with her sisters.

Butterflies Radio @IndieViews Artist Spotlight, featuring The Upset Victory, 7/8/13

This week's guest is the Indie Music Bus July Artist of the Month, The Upset Victory. The five man band are a mixture of punk, metal and pop and call Cincinnati, Ohio home. Guitarist Stephen Campbell sat down with me for an interview in advance of their mini tour, culminating in a performance this Sunday at The Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati.

We talked about the beautiful Queen City, which they call home, the excitement leading up to The Bunbury Music Festival, how they named their latest EP, Wall Street and the bands drummer, Aaron Roy, who also plays for a Hip Hop band.

This week's guest is the Rock/Funk/Jam quartet from LA (Lower Alabama) - Silverhill, Alabama to be precise known as The 7th Green.

The 7th Green were named the June Artist of the Month on Music Scene Investigation (MSI). Formed in 2006, by Hayden Dudley, Owen Finley, and Ethan Giles, the guys went their separate ways on their life paths, reuniting in 2012 and adding Kristian Brannan to the mix.
