Butterflies @IndieViews Artist Spotlight - Sam Bradley 3/26/12

photo from Sam's Facebook page
Tonight's guest on Butterflies Radio @IndieViews Artist Spotlight was British folk singer/songwriter Sam Bradley, who is currently on a month long tour of the US in support of his friend and fellow musician, Marcus Foster.

Sam took the time to talk to me before he left London to come to the US for the tour and talked about great new merchandise that will be available at the shows, when we can expect a new album and about moving his base to London.

He even entertained the question about why he cut his  naturally curly hair.

I am thankful to Sam and his fans for helping make the show possible and I wish him and Marcus the best of luck on the tour. I can't wait to catch the couple of shows I will be able to make.

Here is a podcast with this week's show with Sam Bradley

Butterflies @IndieViews Artist Spotlight - Shaun C. Bryant 3/19/12

Shaun C. Bryant, a British singer-songwriter from Norwich, England, was my guest on last Monday's Butterflies Radio IndieViews Artist Spotlight.

Shaun talked about the influence the Bon Jovi has had on his life, both musically and philanthropically.  He talked about the songwriting process and what to expect from his new album.

He also gave a great recommendation for Chinese food in San Francisco, where he is at for work this week.

One thing about Shaun is the fact that is techie and he makes it insanely easy to find out more about him and his music, even giving fans the opportunity to own stock in him through Sellaband.

Not only was he great to interview, sharing marketing tips and ideas for other indie artists, he helped save the show. I had technical difficulties when it came to show time and Shaun made himself available, though he was in the middle of dinner in London when my crisis arose. He helped find the problem and a solution so the show could go on, though on a one hour delay. For those of you that didn't get to hear the show, or want to listen again, here it is:
